Sunday Worship Services

We invite you to “come as you are”.  Many people wear business casual, some wear a suit, but others wear jeans.  We are not concerned with how you dress, but we want you to fill comfortable and welcomed.

We currently have two services each Sunday, 9 AM and 10:30 AM.

Our 9 AM service lasts approximately 1 hour.  The liturgy (order of services) follows the Book of Common Prayer.  The music is mainly contemporary (accompanied by acoustic guitar and piano), the sermon is between 20-25 mins, and Holy Communion is offered each Sunday.  Nursery and children’s church is available at the 9 AM service.  Children are dismissed prior to the reading of scripture and the sermon, and are returned to their family before Holy Communion.

The 10:30 service follows the Order for Holy Communion according to Anglican Church in North America prayerbook.  This service is more traditional than the 9 AM (choir, robed clergy and a processional and recessional). Coloring books are available for children and the nursery is open as a “cry room”.  We do not yet offer children church or nursery workers at the 10:30 service.

Coffee and refreshements are offered in the fellowship hall – located downstairs – after each service.  Please join us!

A note about Holy Communion for visitors: At each service we offer communion or the Eucharist for all baptized believers in Jesus Christ.  In other words, you do not have to be a member of COR or an Anglican church to participate.  All Christians are invited to come forward to receive.  If you are not a baptized follower of Jesus Christ, you can still participate by coming forward to receive a prayer of blessing.  It is also perfectly fine to remain seated. Please know that we do not feel awkward about non-Christians refraining from communion.  In fact we want to be a place where people can ask questions and be honest about what they believe.
